Pink Cotton Candy Sky

While sitting at my work desk, I noticed a pink glow from the windows. So you know I had to go outside to investigate. Imagine my joy when I saw a Pink Cotton Candy Sky.

It only lasted for a few minutes. But they were minutes of pure joy, wonder & beauty. God is the most fabulous artist.

These photos were taken at 4:55pm tonight with my Sony Cybershot pocket camera and a little help from Picasa.

Better late than never, I'm linking this to Outdoor Wednesday hosted by Susan over at A Southern Daydreamer.

  8. I just love when the clouds get that warm pink glow, cotton candy sky is a great description!

I noticed a ring around the moon this morning when hubby left for work. I looked it up online and folklore says that means bad weather. The number of stars in the circle is supposed to mean how many days till the bad weather but I didn't know to count them. Some one mentioned rain this weekend so I'm curious to see what happens.
