Thanksgiving decor- The finale

Where does the time go? Can you believe that tomorrow is Thanksgiving? Are you ready? I know I'm not.

At least my house is decorated and the groceries are bought. Since it's about time to start everything Christmas, I thought I better finish up posting my Thanksgiving decor. So you are going to get a whole lot a pictures!!!

I know I've already shown you my family room. But I added one more thing. Are we ever done decorating? I didn't think so.

I picked up this Mercury glass leaf ornament at TJ Maxx about a week ago. It is actually for Christmas, but since it is a leaf, I thought it would go better as a Thanksgiving decoration.

It's hanging from my Eiffel Tower lamp. I just love it!!!
Time to move on to my kitchen area. Here is my plate shelf. I added a couple of my turkey salad plates & placed a burgundy leaf plate in front of an old vintage off white plate. On the top I placed faux acorns in a couple of glasses I picked up at the thrift store. The 2 faux pumpkins were originally orange & came from Dollar Tree. I painted them Heirloom White.

But wait, the above only lasted a few weeks. While at TJ Maxx last week I picked up 4 new Johnson Brothers turkey plates. They were only $1.99 each. How could I pass them up? So I changed out the cranberry turkey plates for my new turkey plates. It's a good thing they didn't have anymore than the four plates or I'm sure more would have come home with me. Anyone want to start a dish rehab? Maybe Dr Drew would be interested. I think it would make a fabulous TV show. And I know there are many of you who would need to join me there. lol. Except for the fact that I really don't want to be cured of my addiction.
Oh it looks like I forgot that I also added faux gourds to the glasses as well.
Just to the right of my plate shelf is this plate rack. Here I have 3 of my turkey plates in the dinner plate size. These plates are Queens Myott. The pattern is Thanksgiving. I've picked them up over the past 3-4 years at Marshalls, TJ Maxx & Home Goods. As you remember, I have a set for 24 people. I saw them this year at all 3 stores as well, but I didn't need anymore. I left them for you. I've seen them on ebay as well. They came in cranberry, blue, brown & multi color. I liked this cranberry color the best as it is more pink than red. And I love pink!!!
To the right of the plate rack I've hung 3 different smaller Thanksgiving plates. These plates hang on the wall right above my secretary cabinet.
Here is the Queens Myott Thanksgiving plate in multi color. This is the only one I have in this color. I bought this one especially to hang on the wall.

I don't remember who makes this plate and I'm not at home to look. I got it at Marshall's last year.

I also got this brown turkey plate at Marshall's last year. I don't remember who is the maker on this one either. I remember this one was little more expensive than the Queen Myott ones.
Here is the view of my kitchen wall so you can see how everything is set up.
This little cloche sits on a wire shelf that sits on the cabinet underneath my plate cabinet. I picked up this cloche at a thrift store last month or the month before. I placed one of my S&P shakers underneath. It has since been removed & is being used on one of my Thanksgiving tables. I placed a faux pumpkin in it's place.
On top of my secretary I only have a couple of things for fall or Thanksgiving. 2 more S&P shakers underneath cloches. They have both been changed out as well.
This salt shaker came from Walmart this year. The cloche actually is the glass part of some candle holder. I picked it up at a thrift store earlier this year. I just added a knob to the top of this cloche. I'll share that & a couple of others I did for Met Monday next week. The blue & white plate is a thrift store find.
This salt shaker is the mate to the one on the other cabinet under the other cloche. This cloche came from a thrift store earlier in the year. The blue & white plate below came from a thrift store down in San Diego county years ago. All of my blue & white transferware came from thrift stores.

I have a small wall in my kitchen that I always hang a couple of plates. I switched out my normal blue & white transferware ones for the other two Johnson Brothers turkey plates I just picked up at TJ Maxx.
I love how there is a left facing turkey and a right facing turkey. I just love the color combo in these plates.
They even go with my Queens Myott plates. So if I want to mix things up on my table, I can.

Here is the maker mark on the bottom of my new turkey plates. The pattern is His Majesty.
Let's now move on to the living room. Here is the end table next to my couch. The glass terrarium came from thrift store early summer. The white square plate below was from Home Goods. I placed a faux pumpkin on some moss. Both came from Dollar Tree. The Faith, Family, Friends blocks were made for me by my SIL. It was a kit she bought that someone at church sells. The Murano glass vase came from Home Goods a few years back. The silk hydrangeas came from Joann Fabric a few years back as well.
We have a sofa table in front of our window. I closed the shades as there was too much glare for photos when I had them open.
Does this little arrangement look familiar? I originally had it on my fireplace mantel in our family room. But when I made the Give Thanks sign I switched things around. So this ended up in my living room. The white pumpkin was a clearance item from Michael's last month. The pedestal was a thrift store find that I painted black. The fall garland was from Michael's a year or two back. The Indian corn I've had for probably 20+ years. The Mercury glass acorn was from Home Goods this year and the plum pumpkin was from Target this year.
I got this lantern on clearance at Mervyn's about 3 years ago. I actually have 2 of them. I placed this one on some books I picked up at the thrift store just for the color of them. The fabric pumpkins came from ABC Distributing online a couple of years ago. They had them this year as well.
This is my newest "new" cloche. I picked up a set of 3 from ABC Distributing last month. Each one was a different size. This is the largest one. I placed it on a brown transferware plate that I got at Marshall's a few years back. I placed some more Dollar Tree moss on the plate & then added a ceramic pumpkin I've had for years. I could have snazzied this up more by adding a ribbon or a tag, but I was too tired to mess with decorating anymore.
The final area in my living room that I decorated was the buffet. I just added these 2 flower arrangements. I got them a few years back at Big Lots.
The 3 bowls are all Lenox. My hubby loves & collects Lenox. It's his favorite China. The bowl on the very right (that is almost out of the picture) is his most prized one. It's called a Constitution Bowl. I think he said it goes for $160 or more right now. I know he didn't pay anywhere near that much. He always finds deals online for the Lenox he does buy.
The largest Lenox bowl is my favorite. It's called Four Seasons.

I hope that you enjoyed the rest of my Thanksgiving decor. If you missed seeing my earlier posts you can check them out by clicking on Thanksgiving on my right side bar under labels. But you might want to do that tomorrow when your turkey is digesting.

We are now only having 7 people total for Thanksgiving. That is the smallest Thanksgiving my family has ever had. It will only be me, my hubby, my son, one of my step son's, my parents, my sister and one of my nieces. Everyone else in my family is sharing Thanksgiving with their inlaws. Or just lives too far away to come.

I want to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving. May you enjoy good food, good family & good memories.

I am thankful for everything I have in my life. Including all of you blogging friends. And I do consider you friends.

Be sure to come back Friday as I will be posting my first giveaway to celebrate reaching 100 followers. I love that those of you that have signed up to be a follower already haven't been bribed in any way to do so. But that will all change on Friday!!!!
