Taste of Spring

This morning before work I decided to venture outside to my backyard. And look what I found.

My peach tree is starting to bloom.

And some of my spring bulbs are already blooming. And it's still January!!!

Spring comes early to southern California.

Lucky me!

  8. Lucky, lucky you! I keep checking for signs of spring in my garden too! So far I can see the tops of the Jonquils but my Forsythia buds are closed up tight. When they open that means spring is right around the corner.

  9. Ohhhh....you lucky duck! We've stocked the shelves and run all the errands as we've got a snow storm headed our way. Depending upon the meteorologist, 2-6 inches of snow! There's some forecast accuracy for ya!!

  12. You know us midwesterners are just dreaming of the day we see flowers blooming! I lived in southern California before moving to Missouri so I am really missing the warmth and greenery I had out there. Enjoy the blooms.
