Kiss me I'm Irish (sort of)

Ok, so I'm only partly Irish, but isn't everyone Irish come St Paddy's Day?

So in celebration of all my Irishness I thought I'd share some more of my St Paddy's Day decor.

Welcome to my house, won't you please come in? I won't even make you take off your shoes.

This is the sofa table behind my ugly couch (notice that I never show you my couch? There is a reason for that). This table desperately needs a makeover. I did buy some burlap to make a runner, but some leprechaun who will remain anonymous is currently hiding it from me. Hopefully I can find it & make a runner before this burlap craze is over with.
I'm more of a frenchy kind of girl, but even my Eiffel Tower got a little green Irish makeover. The curly ribbon bows came from the Dollar Tree. I was too lazy to curl my own ribbon.

This cloche has been holding some vintage bottles that I got from ebay a couple of years ago (I got them for a steal).
I added some sparkly shamrocks and a leprechaun hat.

And some blarney stones that say "Kiss me I'm Irish". I also added my Gaelic Poesy Love Ring.
Poesy rings date back to the middle ages & are inscribed with a short poem or sweet sentiment. They were given as a romantic gift or a token of friendship. Outer band of my ring is inscribed: "Gra anois agus go deo." Inner band inscribed: "Love, Now and Forever."

My ring came from Pyramid Collection.

I hung my 4 leaf clover charm on the outside of this cloche. It came from ebay last year or the year before.

Next I will show you the little cabinet that sits at the end of my kitchen cabinets. The white frame always sits here. I bought it at a thrift store years ago. It was gold. I painted it white & distressed it. The apothecary jar always sits here as well. Lately I have filled it with my letter balls that I got from Coldwater Creek outlet last summer.

The mercury glass birds were from Target at Christmas. But since they are birdies, they will work for spring as well.
This framed print came from JoAnn Fabrics about 10 years ago. The little bowl I got last year & have no idea where it came from. Probably Marshall's, but I can't remember (hazard of getting old).
And finally is this leprechaun print. I really love this. It is a print I borrowed from the Internet. I placed it in a clearance frame I picked up at TJ Maxx last month.

I hope that you have enjoyed my St Paddy's Day decor. If you missed the post about my Lucky Charms St Paddy's Day mantel, click here to view.

Before you go, I thought I'd leave you with a little Irish blessing.

Happy St Patrick's Day to you!

I better hurry and get my SPD stuff posted... I am so behind.

I saw that Pier One has those letter/number balls. I think they were 2.50 each. I couldn't decide what to get, can't get as many as you have.
