Up, up and away

This is what I saw this morning right outside my front door.

And I don't live in New Mexico.

I love seeing hot air balloons.

Just don't want to take a ride in one.

    I have....when I was a child. My father took me to Disney World and somewhere around Orlando we went for a hot air balloon ride in a balloon that look like Mickey. It was the thrill of the whole trip!!!!! I don't remember much, other than the balloon looking like Mickey...ears and all :)

    That is an absolutely gorgeous shot of the hot air balloon.
    We used to have a least 6 or 7 of them floating around above our back yard when we first moved here to San Diego about 20 years ago....now they are mostly only in Del Mar.
    Took a peek at your Temecula post and really enjoyed it!!! I haven't been poking around there in years....maybe it's time to go back and take a look.

    I think they are truly beautiful, but I have a fear heights. Guess I never will get to fly in one. I am sure it would be fun and think what a view you could see. This one is very pretty.

    Wonder where it originated from. I lived in Albuquerque but when we lived there they did not have the balloon festival yet. Nice picture.
