Cloche Party-Christmas

Here is my part 2 for the Holiday cloche party hosted by Marty at A Stroll Thru Life. If you missed part 1 which was my Thanksgiving cloches, click here. Otherwise, let's move on to my Christmas cloches.
This angel means a lot to me as it was given to me by a dear friend many years ago. She has since passed away. So that makes this angel even more special.

I got this Hummel angel while on vacation in Germany back in 2003. It brings back great memories when I look at it. Except for the memory where I got $200 stolen from me in Germany, from my hotel room. That I don't want to remember.
I got this tag from Tales from An OC Cottage as part of a giveaway that Its So Very Cheri had a couple of months ago. Keeping calm this time of year can sometimes be hard. Especially if you saw how my house looks trying to get my cloches ready tonight.

Isn't this Hummel angel just darling?
A small cloche in my kitchen.

Some faux snow and Christmas tree in a crystal glass.

This is one of my newest cloches. The base I just found at Big lots on clearance for $1.50. It fit the cloche perfect. I can't remember where I got the snowman, but I just got it a few weeks back. The glitter snowflakes also came in my winnings from Tales from an OC Cottage. The jingle bell garland came from Michael's last year.
Most of my cloches for Christmas are on my china hutch.

Made this one from a thrift store cheese dome. The cardboard house is actually an ornament that I got from Mervyn's about 3-4 years ago.
I just made this cloche out of a glass dome I got at the thrift store for $1.00. I glued on a glass knob I've had for years.
The two child size tea cups are Spode. I filled the top cup with some faux snow to try & get my Santa to stand up straight, but he seems to be leaning. I added one of my vintage crystal necklaces around the base.
Another thrift store cheese dome covers a thrift store Santa mug.
I added some bottle bush trees I picked up at Big Lots in October. And I added a tin star ornament from Target (just got it a week or two ago).
This is a new cloche as well. I got a set of three from ABC Distributing a couple of months ago. They have some weekly stuff that isn't in their regular catalogs that they sell online. So you can't get them right now. But I got 3 different sizes in the set for $24.00. This is the smallest one. The middle size has the snowman with the glitter snowflakes. I didn't get my largest one done in time to post.
This is actually an ornament I bought from Marshall's years ago. I love the cherries on the tea cup.
This cloche is a actually a light cover. I picked it up at a thrift store for $1.00. I also got the little Christmas girl at the thrift store as well. She was $3.00.
She is so sweet.
This cloche has a cardboard church. It is also an ornament & I got it at Mervyn's the same time I got the cardboard house ornament. The metal keys came from Kirkland's a few years back. Remember how I thought I had lost them when I put up my chalkboard? Well, I found them.

I got these 3 apothecary jars at Big Lots about 2 years ago. I filled all three with jingle bells. All the bells came from the Dollar Tree.
I added another vintage crystal necklace to the largest jar as well as a glitter "joy" sign from Walmart.

On top of my hutch I have another cloche. This one sits on a crystal cake plate. The Santa came from the Dollar Tree last year. The wooden sleigh I've had for about 30 years. The bottle brush trees came from Big Lots this year. And if I haven't over loaded you yet, here is one last apothecary jar. I got this jar at Kirkland's a few years back. I've filled it with more jingle bells.
And added a glitter "Joy" sign. I picked this up a few years back from a small florist/gift shop in Temecula.

And that concludes my cloche extravaganza. I told you I was obsessed with them. I must be as it is now 1:30 in the morning & I am still writing about cloches. And I can't even blame Marty. But then, maybe I can. Yes, it's Marty's fault that I have this obsession. I hope she continues to have these little cloche parties. I really enjoy seeing what everyone does with their cloches & glass jars.

GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.

  22. They all look great, but I am really drawn to the Santa mug and the little tree. That one is calling my name!

Thank you for sharing! I also just picked up a cheese dome at a thrift store for $2. Did it have a wooden base? If so, what did you do with it? I haven't decided what to do, but I'm not throwing it away.
