Dreaming of a white Christmas

One day till Christmas!!! That makes today Christmas Eve. Santa comes tonight. I am so excited.

I've been dreaming of a white Christmas. Too bad I live in southern California. So it ain't going to happen. Boo hoo!

So I decided to make my own white Christmas.

Maybe I could be like Alice in Wonderland & shrink down small enough to fit in this snowy Christmas village.
I didn't get to experience my first white Christmas until I was about 16 years old.
That year we went up to Utah to spend Christmas with my Grandparents.
On Christmas eve there was no snow. And snow was not in the forecast.
We went to bed so disappointed that we were not going to get a white Christmas.
But something magical happened during the night while we slept.
We work up Christmas morning to a foot of fresh fallen snow.
It was magical.
The most magical Christmas that I remember.
Except for maybe the time I heard Santa at my house when I was a small child.
And saw Santa & his reindeer including Rudolph streaking across the sky.
That was pretty magical too.
But there is something about snow that makes Christmas extra special.
I've been a good girl all year. Do you think that something magical might happen tonight & I'll wake up to a white Christmas?

If not, I always have my Christmas village with all it's faux snow.

Look on the bright side, at least I don't have to shovel it.

I hope that you all have a very Merry Christmas. I want to thank each of you for taking the time to visit my little blog. It means so much to me. I have enjoyed making new friends and getting to know each of you. Even if you don't leave a comment. I appreciate that you at least took the time to visit.

And here is a little video that I thought you might enjoy. It's about the best part of Christmas.
